The Bubbly Files – An Interview with Hadley Larson of Domaine Carneros

June 3, 2021

Welcome to “The Bubbly Files” our new video interview series putting the spotlight on the many behind-the-scenes incredible people who give the Champagne and Sparkling Wine industry its pétillance!

In this first episode, we went to Northern California to chat with Domaine Carneros Wine Educator, Hadley Larson.
I met Hadley last Easter when I visited Napa Valley and made a stop at Domaine Carneros for a tasting of their sparkling wines. Hadley has over 15 years experience in the wine business and has been educating & entertaining wine lovers and aficionados at Domaine Carneros for over 3 years to date. Needless to say, her professionalism, expertise and bubbly personality made our visit unforgettable.

Domaine Carneros is a singular winery best known as a small grower-producer of méthode traditionelle sparkling wine, Pinot Noir, estate vineyards, and a breathtakingly beautiful château. Founded by the noble family behind Champagne Taittinger, Claude Taittinger’s search for a worthy U.S. counterpart began in the late 1970s.
In 1987 he selected a 138-acre parcel in the heart of Carneros, Napa Valley, wisely choosing Eileen Crane-often referred to as America’s doyenne of Sparkling Wine-to oversee the development of the Taittinger style in Carneros. In 2020, after 33 years, Crane passed the torch to a new CEO, Remi Cohen, whose role carries on the Taittinger tradition of visionary female leadership.

It’s no surprise Hadley fits perfectly in this tapestry of inspirational women who continue to lead a new generation of women in wine and to make a difference in the community around the world. For More info go to: https://www.domainecarneros.com/
