Explore six different wine regions around the world, their terroirs, and typical styles. Learn how to decipher wine bottle labels in various countries and which foods pair well with the wines.

BLIND TASTINGS

Choose your theme or let us surprise you! We will provide 4-6 wines with all information hidden to test your palate or experience something new.

You and your guests will receive a list of possible wines and flavor profiles, then try to determine which one is which. This is a fun way to entertain your friends, who may get a bit competitive. Who will be the winning “wine detective”? A special prize for the one who gets the best tasting score.

VARIETAL TASTINGS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

Varietals have different aroma and flavor characteristics depending on where they are grown and the style of wine making.

Choose your favorite varietal or try something new, or delve deeper into a particular category of wine. We can tailor the tasting to whatever you want to try!

THE WORLD OF SPARKLING WINES

There is a reason that sale of sparkling wine have gone up in recent years – it’s amazing! But it can be confusing! For example, did you know that all Champagne is sparkling wine, but only bubbles from Champagne, France can be called by that name?

Learn about the various methods of making these bubbly beverages, the different styles, and taste profiles.

• This event includes 5 tastings from around the world: Cava, Champagne, Prosecco, Sekt, and a mystery sparkling wine.

WINES OF FRANCE

The vastly different wine regions of France each have a unique history and method of wine production. There are so many different styles and varieties used to make wine in this country, and this event gives you a chance to try them.

WINES OF SPAIN & PORTUGAL

The Iberian peninsula has a wine history that dates back 3,000 years, and a wide variety of styles and grapes used in their wine making.

In this event we explore the top wine regions of Spain and Portugal, learn about their wine production methods, and what makes them special.

WINES OF ITALY

Did you know that Italy has 20 different wine regions? Each has a distinctive style and varieties, many unique to that region.

From the northern Alpine regions to Sicily, the terroirs and styles create an incredibly diverse array of wines Take a wine tour around this wonderful country and learn about the many specialty wines it has to offer.

WINES OF THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE

There is a vast world of wine below the Equator that is waiting for you to discover it! We will try signature wine styles from Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. You will learn about the terroir, production, and wine making history in each location.
